The Broker — The Short Version
Tab Trade went live in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.
His background matters. It says the founder has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade went the other way. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For something that launched in March 2026, that coverage is not narrow.
Platforms
They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from one account. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, automated trading, huge user base. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Faster charting. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for algo traders but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is apparently in the works. That will round things out when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. So your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is good for an offshore broker. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. TabTrade does not.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not something most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.
Execution Speed
This is the area where TabTrade stands apart. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers operate at hundreds of milliseconds.
Does it matter? For short-term trading, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, it matters less. What matters is the setup is serious. That signals what kind of broker this is.
Pair that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering holds up. Few brokers at this price point have infrastructure at this level.
Safety
Now, the thing that matters. The broker is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup costs real money. Dodgy operations do not pay for Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. It does factor into your decision.
The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works comes down to your priorities.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade runs a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Typical sign-up bonus. You deposit, the broker credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Read the conditions before you deposit.
